That's like a whole person strapped to your front.
Tbf, I've watched women do exactly that. To be fair, often very small people, but that's still in the neighborhood of 20 pounds or so. Plus whatever a more average female chest weighs. (I'm referring, of course, to various means of wearing a baby or young toddler.)
