Are we sure this was 1985? I've seen this photo before, and was told it was during the 1940s.
I honestly have no way of knowing which is true.
Neonazis in 1940?
I said I saw the photo, not the title. If the date in the title were incorrect, would it be that out of the question that a word is also incorrect?
Swedes so ahead of the curve their regular 40s Nazis already had 80s fashion and skinheads.
Because they are dressed as neonazis which is clearly shown in the photo.
Perhaps you should also read the title.
The car on the left is definitely not from the 1940s
Does it look like a car or clothes from the 40‘s ?
It's just outside my then (some 5 years later) favourite café Brokvists. So I can say that yes it's from the eighties.
Wikipedia says it was 1985. I'm not sure why it's in b&w, since there was definitely color in the 80s.
Black and white film continued to be used after color was invented. You can even buy it today
If the photo’s being taken for use in newspapers and it’s going to be printed in black and white, might as well just take the photo in black and white since the film’s cheaper
Black and white provided the highest contrast for the lowest cost.
This is probably the correct answer.
