Currently winging it.
Does your immediate family have a generally happy and harmonius history or the opposite?
I didn't have an easy upbringing, but everyone was trying their best to varying degrees of success.
What good lessons do you remember, like just generally?
Children don't need much besides love.
Foster curiosity and creativity.
If you split up and can't get along, don't make your kids the messengers of your personal animosities.
