the only book I could get through was the lorax. the other books dont have enough pictures. very difficult
Enjoying books with pictures in them
Yeah. I wish more adult fiction was at least somewhat illustrated! Honestly, the people who illustrate children's books are criminally underrated artists, a lot of that artwork is really dang good, and just gets dismissed as "small children's media, so can't possibly have any real artistic value".
Oh yeah. Even just having like a picture at the start of each chapter can be very helpful with immersion.

~~yes that is the joke~~ but also unironically i can barely focus on a story that doesnt have pictures if it has more than 4 characters im supposed to remember the name of. manga/comics stay winning
