These last 2 weeks have done quite a lot to make me think this country should just be turned into radioactive ash

Such faux outrage was expected of conservatives who love a 'legitimate' excuse to play victim more than anything else on this earth, but all the liberal networks and pundits going out of their way to metaphorically fellate an open fascist who did everything short of wearing a Klansman robe or Nazi uniform (in public)...

The crimes of this guilty land will never be purged away but with nuclear fire.

I genuinely believe that in order for the world to improve the west needs to lessen it's grip and it's influence globally (doing that itself pretty well so far) and lose the throes of resource extraction and soft power that is used to exploit the global south. The dangerous part is how much the U.S is gonna lash out as it loses it power.

Yes, the only path forward is the rest of the world moving ahead without us, it’s the best outcome.

I'm really sick of how they're putting Kirk up on a pedestal, calling him heroic or comparing him to MLK Jr. Fuck that, MLK Jr actually did things and had a demonstrable effect on civil rights. What did Kirk even do other than shout at college students and sell merch? He may have had some impact on younger people voting for Trump but I think his influence there is greatly exaggerated.

But even then that's not a demonstrable heroic thing, that's just being a campaign spokesperson. It's such a stretch to say anything nice about Charlie Kirk in life or death.

I thought the same thing, but I've been reassessing that since I listened to the recent Truanon episode on him. It turns out he was actually extremely involved and successful in right-wing organizing and tying together different factions of the alt-right with each other and with the big donors. Apparently had a direct line to Vance as well. Those of us who thought he was just another right wing youtber hack actually were underestimating his influence. Of course that's all the more reason to celebrate the death of that fascist, and any liberal putting him on a pedestal all the more disgusting.

He mostly ended up appealing to older people who viewed his as successfully agitating among younger people

He was also apparently a hugely effective organizer for absolutely demonic causes
