fun fact: fixing an old broken fridge is (usually) very easy, I truly believe anyone with a few hours to spend on a weekend can do it.

This one seems good, nine times out of ten a fridge that isn't working just needs the compressor relay replaced or even just cleaned.

The specifics of refrigeration can be complex, but household fridges are extremely simple. It's a motor and a long bendy circular pipe with a liquid that can easily turn to gas. That's it.
