I wasn't a fan of how Erika claimed to support Palestine and then immediately started promoting Kamala and fundraising for her.
Kamala promised to keep the genocide going and would probably be spineless in defending LGBT, and affluent libs who say they care about Palestine and go on to fund raise for her need to be called out.
That said, what I see here is a current administration fomenting both an administrative and corporate repression of dissent, using a high profile attack to designate anyone LGBT or self identifying as being opposed to fascism as a terrorist - with all the loss of legal protections that entails. I mean this tweet is digging up someone calling themselves an antifascist 5 years ago and photographed with Pride flags to say, go after this person and these groups.
What specifically would Kamala have done to stop the genocide?

Neither I said that Kamala would be a good option. Between the two, I sincerely believe that Kamala would be slightly better.

Because she campaigned on full 100% support for Israel, same as trump.
Well she did say she would lower grocery prices. I remember because people on the right said that means she wanted to do price controls, which "never work", and also hence she was a communist (with associated Ai art, too lol). There was a Citations Needed episode about it sort of recently, of how whenever a politician offers anything it means you're trying to bribe the voters. I also remember thinking she should focus harder on it during the campaign.
She also said she would defend abortion. After "defending democracy", that was probably the thing she focused on most, and it was a good thing to bring up, especially after Roe, and unlike democracy, is a material thing she theoretically could probably change.
The only problem is she couldn't say too much how she would do anything, because either that's communism, or the question is why isn't Biden doing that now. Because she can't really answer that question about why isn't Biden doing that now without saying, "well I'd do it differently" which apparently wasn't allowed.
IMO all of that kind of pales compared to supporting a genocide and it's worth not voting for them just to discourage them from doing that, but in good faith, there were minor domestic policy differences they brought up, even if in foreign policy they were identical. I am the Blorax and I speak for the libs.

You know how, to trick a child into going along with what you want, you give them two options that both tacitly assume the thing that you want so they feel like they have a choice and go along with it? e.g. "On our way home, do you want to stop for ice cream or donuts?" (tacit assumption: we're leaving now).
As it turns out, you can do the same thing to adults.
The correct thing to do if you give a shit about Palestine is not to give legitimacy to a genocidaire who will girlboss pinkwash the slaughter of innocents, it's to organize outside of the choice the neoliberal establishment gave you, because there is more to the world than who gets elected President, and some of it is actually productive.
This is a really good way to explain this concept to people who think there is a meaningful difference between the US parties, I'll be using this in the future.

Trump has been the leader for less of the destruction of Gaza than Biden simply because isreal had already destroyed more than 50% of Gaza under his presidency.

Even if I may be frequently disappointed, I do tend to be more optimistic than I suspect most users here are as far as believing there's potential for well-meaning liberals who wander in here to become radicalized over time, in part because of the seeds that we can help plant by talking to them.
