Any good political game needs both good leftist paths and Red Scare trope filled "tankie" vanguardist paths! I personally rather enjoy both!
i'd love a vanguardist path (in any game) that feels good to play.
so i end up always taking the squishy council-communist style paths
Yeah, they do have a tendency to be just a little off and make the more moderate paths feel more fun. But, y'know, I like council communist type paths and I also like "glory to the party" tropes. The sillier it gets, the funnier.
