Sysiphos has nothing to construct anything. It's just him and the rock and the hill, forever. Also, the gods wouldn't let him ease the curse that's on him without punishment. The main concept behind ancient Greek and Roman myths is not to mess with the gods. They've got theit own business and don't care about human affairs.
