For me, it was The Walking Dead. It obviously suffered seriously quality decline over its run - but because it was so long, I could've instead watched so many other shows instead.

Dexter for sure, but also Sons of Anarchy

They both jump the shark and never recover

Dexter first season was good, second was ok, third did not finish.

The fourth season with john lithgow is so good though. After that it gets bad quickly, but the one with john lithgow steals the show
