A used book store is refusing to sell books by a very popular author because he made comments about asshole karma? Didn't Steve already get paid when the books were bought the first time? If there are less used books being sold won't more people buy new books, which earn him more $?
They might have a contract with their distributor that requires them to buy back unused stock.
