Used to be me, now I am the total opposite. I have become the if I wanted to read id pick up a book guy but its cause as i started picking up books again I did want my games more and more to just be games. Now I just try to get weirdly good at a smaller number of games. Those being: F-Zero X, Wild Guns, Castlevania 1, Contra 3, Papers Please and FTL and the VR Missions in mgs2
You can shoot robot cowboys driving dune buggies and paragliding overhead and trying to drop cartoon sticks of dynamite on you while standing on top of a moving train. This is what video games are all about
100%. The first 10 seconds of the Carson City OST have been burnt in my mind since I rented it as a kid.
