People smashed and burned waymo taxis in the LA ICE Riots earlier this year because waymo locked protesters in the cars at the request of the police.

All I can think of is that the cities with those cars are likely to be targetted by ICE, but imho, indiscriminately impeding traffice just makes setting up check-points easier.

It's one of the things that bothers me most about how desensitized we are to constant road construction. We are literally unlikely to notice we are being funneled until its too late to do anything about it. That said, just one more reason to avoid relying on cars.
