still not a single drone assasination on usa soil, truly remarkably pliant society

Not a drone, but in 2016:Robot-delivered lethal explosive in Dallas police standoff was a first, experts say

Unable to subdue the suspect without compromising their safety, police decided to end the standoff by attaching explosives to a bomb robot and detonating them near the suspect.

And there was the time in 1985 Philly police dropped bombs from a helicopter. So police have killed with robots and they've killed with aerial bombardment. Only a matter of time before local PD start authorizing drone strikes.

The army dropped bombs on coal mining strikers at one point as well, I forget the details.

The unionization of coal mining was perhaps the most violent of all of the unionizations. The bosses sponsored a lot of killing and everything else.

Battle of Blair Mountain

Just commenting to add the battle of Blair mountain to this list as well. You know they would’ve been using drones on those workers if they had em.

Not that we know about. They did just test their new Homeland Security drones in New Jersey though so I would not expect that will continue to hold.
