School’s been in session for what, not even a month? Can’t wait to hear about how the police had already been aware of the shooter and did nothing.

This could actually be a context where the 12 might be somewhat well-equipped. If we’re not doing anything because “muh freedumz”, then just target these people with warning signs to prevent crime. Even if you’re just talking them out of it. There, no gun laws needed.
I never want to hear shit about “muh birthrates” when this happens all the time and the powers that be shrug their shoulders and say “tee hee, ohhhhhh well!”
