It's not "authoritarianism" if it's happening in a US ally (or puppet).

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.
Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.
There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

This shit breaks me in a way I can't even put into words. I have a kid of similar age as the one taken in the clip. I can only imagine the horror, the absolute horror of it and how it breaks everything in you. For the mom, I don't know if I'd be able to ever exist again if this happened. Yet in my country the ghouls are very much building consent so that this may soon become a reality and my biggest fear is exactly this. My commie kid would be sent in to sweep mines fast and it has happened here before, it would happen again. I have made actual plans of how to hide him and jesus christ...
My kids grandfather is a natohawk arsehole who gleefully signs up for this sort of shit. He never sees footage like this and if he did, he'd just dismiss it as "ruzzian propaganda". He and others like him imagine the world like it's some epic movie of good versus evil and the bourge news cycle they consume upholds it for them. They never ask who it is that would die for their empire, who is it that dies! Look your grabdkid in the eye and tell him that it is him you want to feed to the death machine!
I need these people to look young people in the eye and tell them they don't care for their lives at all as long as they get to "win againts evil russia and putler".
I work with a lib for whom I trotted everything out to explain what led to the war, but he was still 'Putler bad'; even though I gave him context, it took him talking to people he personally trusts to finally come around. He admitted that what I'd said had put doubts in him, but he'd even been willing to say that people in Donbas (all of them) should've just left, and that what Ukraine was doing to them was fine because 'well were they protesting maybe? Causing riots?'. If these people aren't hearing it from people they personally trust, then evidence, historical context, facts, etc will do nothing.
Unless Kamala or Biden come out and say exactly all this, libs are not changing their minds; perhaps if the news would also report all this as well rather than pretend Russia just attacked Ukraine out of the blue for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
