After leaving my first fiance, I vowed id never go back to this state.

Lol im back, and its just as I remembered it! Aside from all the obvious sociopolitical issues, last night's venue had NO fucking idea how to run our show.

Staff had confusion over door and set time, and they had a major touring package playing out back. They asked us to "merge the shows" somehow cause rain was due, and the outdoor show got shut down. It would have been fine with us, but we had to say no because the locals we booked could not be playing late for whatever reasons. That lead to them just cutting the outdoor show, eventually, and having us start our gig on a whim.

Like, alright, this CANNOT BE A SPECIAL SITUATION! WHAT IS YOUR USUAL PROCEDURE? Don't look to us to be the decision makers, this is your venue.

It's pretty hilarious how obsessed they are with California. Like, California is some kind of boogieman that Texans tell around the campfire to scare other Texans.

...So that's why I always answer the door heavily armed and my homemade RPG is right near the front door. It could a ten foot tall one-armed hooked goat-man creature with a rainbow-colored devil's robe and cowl. In other words - California.

I misread ten foot as one foot (was hitting the bong and reading at the same time, forgive me lol), and thought that sounded like such an adorable little monster. I want one to live with me and hang out with me when i get home from work.
