Video of High Falls on Flickr

A short hike located just off from Lake Superior with a few different access points to begin from. While mostly easy, a couple of rundown sections and a collapsed staircase put this in the moderate category. Two separate waterfalls and a view of Lake Superior make this a fun way to stretch the legs.

Side view of high falls coming down. All of the water around here has that brownish tint to it, tannins maybe?

Head on view of Two Step falls with their brownish tint like much in the area.

Looking out from the viewpoint near the beginning of the trail. The ridge lines on the left left into Canada eventually. Lake Superior is the water body.

Such a beautiful spot! Definitely tannins, makes the water look like Root Beer!

It really does! I've seen tannin dyed water before, but that was to a whole new level.
