The official client is an emacs package, interesting! These parts from the readme made me chuckle:

To consume and read other users' feeds, you can read them manually, use a script, or a client.

Because of the decentralised nature it is very difficult to discover new users.

Yes... but also WordPress is supposed to be a blogging platform, and now it powers like half the web.

People hack around the arbitrary limitations of software all the time!
