I've said repeatedly that I expect mass graves in the US before this is all over.
I assume that sounds like hyperbole, but I'm 100% serious.
Mass graves are baked in to the fabric of America. It's barely hyperbole to say mass graves are foundational to the US (and all settler states).

Reminds me of when I was talking to someone that worked with forensic anthropologists out of Texas. They spent some time on a body farm out there and they were careful to explain that all the remains used were people that had consented before death (or had been donated by estranged family but they downplayed that).
The odd little exception was people who had died trying to cross the desert into the states. They were left in a fenced off area to decompose awaiting identification.
