Lady here & MHT with estrogen and progesterone helped me so much, sharply reduced my incidence of migraine and UTI, I will keep on it as long as possible.
Husband says he won't do the T, though, he just lifts weights. I think it would probably help him, but it is a lot more risky too, so I don't really know if it's a good idea. Our doctor said he wants to, though, and he is our age.
I do know you ought not start unless you mean to continue, it replaces & your body stops making it. Which might be an ok result if you don't have enough to begin with, just something to think about.
Overall I am not against intervention in general, we are living so much longer and I want to feel good for more of those years, and the MHT is part of a virtuous cycle, better sleep and exercise, is protective of bones and brain.
