The Dalai Lama was backed by the CIA, and the mode of production was feudalist, relying on slavery and torture. The US backed anti-PRC movements here to destabilize the region, but nevertheless since the PLA liberated Tibet the Xizang autonomous region has seen massive material improvements in key quality of life metrics.
You call it a conspiracy theory, then learn that it's real and immediately leave the convo after defending slavery and theocracy. I can't really take you seriously. Read Friendly Feudalism: The Tibet Myth.
