The trailer makes it look like a typical war movie. But the protagonists are German soldiers. I'm sure there will be a scene or two that show they're meanies.

It's not that she is a collaborator, she's a prisoner tied to a bed held by German officers and they untie her and she's going to lead them out. They get spotted from hundreds of meters away and she is cut down by a machine-gun.It's one of the themes of the film that the people they try to help - the young woman, and the little boy Kolya, all get killed by the war.
