Biden used tariffs pretty liberally and incentivized domestic manufacturing as well - entirely at odds with neoliberal economics. Even so, American post-pandemic recovery was the envy of the world.

Our inflation went down faster!.... Because we rushed people back to work while pandemic was happening and had the fed work to counter worker wage increases!
it was a K shaped recovery.
If you look at the growth of hamburger sales from March 28 2023 to March 30 2023, you will find a whopping 6% increase, thus proving that same 6% increase in the wider economy, it's basic American economics!
