Is the joke that being Christian is a bigger turn off than being lobsterheaded?
He's got a yarmulke on. He's Jewish.
He's Jewish and apparently religion is a big issue for him.
Famously shellfish aren't kosher so observant Jews wouldn't eat them. Not sure what the rest of the old testament says about them but given the observance of other rules it seems more of a guideline for Christians.
The Old Testament only matters to Christians when they want to oppress gay people.
If he isnβt kosher does that mean he eats pork?
Being lobster-headed is a turn-on for her. He's practically the perfect match for her and she's likely the best, if not only, partner he could hope for.
But yeah, I guess, it's less of a joke and more of a social commentary that people will forego great partners when they're not accepted by their tribe.
the bible says in the 3rd book of moses that you shouldn't eat lobster. and he's jewish ofc.
