Not sure how you've come to that conclusion. The snorkeler is clearly snorkeling. Seems pitch perfect to me.

My guess is that he was their "best" customer, nothing more. He went there, a lot, and did unspeakable and unthinkable things to children. I deeply hope there is some sort of afterlife based on how you were as a person and that makes you see it via a point of view of empathy and intelligence, as that would put him in endless and ever-worsening torture both physically and mentally from realisation and understanding of everything he's done.
