Who would have thought that bringing peace to the Middle East would be so difficult?!
His obsession with the Nobel peace price is really what's driving all this. He's been willing to do deals nobody else would make just to get that recognition, and it's ironically inflaming more conflict.
The best news I read is that his nomination was withdrawn so now he's extra yippy.
Pakistan hasn't withdrawn the nomination yet. It was just the Ukrainian who seemed a bit misinformed who withdrew it
Wait, why would Ukraine do that? Was he just nominated by a random guy or something?
As an incentive to get Trump to aid them. He's entirely ego-driven.
It was a pretty obvious shot at social engineering, which in the context of orangeboi, is generally a fairly shrewd way to play it
Nah, it's much more simple than even that: he's just a malignant narcissist and a colossal idiot who happens to have a talent for grifting*. Everything he's ever done has been because of that combo.
*ETA: as well as the wealth and connections to play life on story mode from day one, of course
If he wanted a Nobel peace prize he should have just committed genocide. That's what most of the others did.
Though Henry Kissinger is pulling a "Spiders Georg" and really skewing the numbers there.
He isn't the only winner of that prize to be involved in war crimes, to be fair.
Oh of course, but I doubt anyone else on the list rivals him in quantity.
To be fair, geopolitics is complicated. Ever seen The Good Place? I suspect it's pretty difficult to stay totally uninvolved in war crimes as a major world leader. The Doug Forcetts of geopolitics don't do much evil, but they don't do enough good to get peace prizes either.
I would think truly being a mediator would require not playing both sides of the negotiating table for your own ego inflation, but I’m no global affairs expert
This is why he's in the white house and we're not /s
His Daddy problems made him a liability to our country.
Many tried and failed, but now it's Trump. So it will fail spectacularly.
Many say that it fails more beautifully than any other president. No one fails better than Trump.
Only those not living under a rock for the past 50 years
Or those not being all coked up for the past 50 years
Or those not busy with Epstein kids
Or those...
