Ah fuck no.... that Haliburton injury doesn't look good. His calf muscles snapped.

[–] scytale@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 weeks ago

Definitely achilles. You could see it snap in the slow mo replay. Sigh.

[–] Tugboater203@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

Yeah, that looked bad.

[–] scytale@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 weeks ago

Welp, I guess that’s it. What an anti-climactic ending. Teams can only wish refs called their defense the way they do OKC.

Who's going to step up for the Pacers?

[–] scytale@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Nembhard, Nesmith, TJ, and Toppin need to collectively step up.

[–] Tugboater203@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Turner needs to hit those 3s or start driving to the basket

[–] scytale@lemmy.zip 2 points 3 weeks ago

And free throws. Those missed FTs will haunt them if they end up being down only a couple of points late in the game.

I can't believe these fucking rejects are the people ESPN trots out for halftime show of game 7 of the NBA finals.

[–] rezz@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

ESPN product is so horrific it is mind boggling. They have to be produced by reality TV wannabes at this point because that is what the editing feels like.

This is where you see Hali’s importance. Their offense suddenly stops moving when he’s out. TJ is a good backup and has helped them a ton, but he’s not as great a playmaker.

[–] Tugboater203@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

To be fair, every time he passes it they turn it over

[–] Tugboater203@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

TJ is doing some work.

I'm pulling for the Pacers, but if SGA wants to be The Man in OKC he needs to bring it big now.

The fucking devil came to collect. Dammit this was supposed to be an epic game 7. I mean it still can be, but would’ve been much better with everyone healthy.

Yeah he was cooking there
