tl;dr extremely small portion, like the size of a microwave meal and it was overcooked and to add insult to the injury, bland as hell.

I've been cooking my own meals for the past couple of months and I decided to treat myself today and not have to cook and clean up. Fast "food" has taken a nosedive. I'm out $30 from a comrade that could have went towards groceries and I feel stupid and ripped off.

It sucks, but the infrequency of ordering out is part of what makes it suck, yet doing more of your own cooking is something that points you in a good direction. I hope one day you get to the point where you can awkwardly remember "that time when $30 on some shitty takeout felt like a big deal" and laugh at it.
