Is there a reputable source for this? While I don't automatically disbelieve it, there's no quote or attribution, no article or link to any sources, just a picture of a drone and hashtags.

This is why I'm glad for Lemmy. At first it outraged me, but after seeing the conversation, it does sound more like a dark parody from The Hunger Games (i.e. JabberJays) which is completely possible with current drone tech and speakers, but X to doubt until source cited.
Edit: Thanks for the source. It appears the worst is true.
