Summary

FDA scientists have been instructed to avoid using words like "woman," "disabled," and "elderly" in external communications, per a leaked list circulating within the agency.

The directive, reportedly linked to Trump’s executive order against "gender ideology," has caused confusion and concern.

The White House denies most words are banned but confirms restrictions on terms related to gender and diversity.

Scientists fear these limits will hinder medical research and public health efforts.

How are they supposed to refer to a woman then? ~wo~MAN?

Presumably "femoids" or some other 4chan coinage.

I'm pretty sure the lists I've seen circulating also ban the word female... which is so bizarre

They aren't.

Anyone other than nondisabled cis hetero white males is irrelevant.

Preferably, they won't. At all. "Non-male person" at best.

“Wives” I guess since that seems to be the only position that these people value.
