and Tidus' outfit is so loud I love it, peak Tetsuya Nomura.
PCSX2 actually makes a lot of games look considerably better than they did on the PS2 because of the interlacing the original hardware did. This video is a good comparison: https://youtu.be/eedxkq-Ctpk?t=651
But yeah the style of this game wasn't bad. I feel like almost the entire world was in an overcast eternal sunset which felt mildly depressing to me but contrasted nicely with the incredibly positive over-acting way everyone puts on a brave face because of the circumstances. The whole group dynamic reminds me a lot of the way groups of people deal with terminal illness.
