yeah mostly I just mean fat/tall but also trans so potentially some weirdness in several dimensions. I wouldn't say I have any pairs that fit great tbh, though of course the ones with some stretch are very comfy they're no good for durability or getting a transferable measurement. but I have an idea of my size and can always take more measurements and try a few different pairs/sizes if they're not ludicrously priced
I guess I had conflated unwashed/unsanfordized with raw denim in my head, good to know
Some of the less expensive (but still kinda expensive ngl) brands I know of:
*Naked and Famous - probably best known for their "weird" stuff (odd colors, character colabs, straight up meme stuff like 50" inseam pants), but they have a pretty wide range of fits. They also make some stretch materials with elastene in them. Probably the best starting point if you're in NA, since returns would be easier. They have a sister "Unbranded" brand that's a lil cheaper (and made in Macau or China), but I don't have experience with them.
*Sauce Zhan - Chinese brand that I've ordered from AliExpress before. Pretty nice stuff for the price, but a smaller brand (so limited options)
*Bronson MFG - Kind of a goofy Chinese brand . They focus mostly on mid century American military reproductions, but they have some cool denim, too. I'm actually wearing a pair of their fatigue pants right now lol
Most of this stuff comes with long inseam (usually 34"), so tall shouldn't be much of a problem. Good luck finding something that suits your dimensions!
