I love '60s music - it's the majority of what I currently listen to - but I'm not sure how many lemmy users will be interested in that era.
What was interesting about Spotify was: the younger generation were given discovery suggestions, and my youngest kids and their friends were starting to have 60s and 70s songs in the regular playlist.
Oh Phil Spector, you magnificently-talented raving homicidal maniac! If only you had just produced incredible music instead of... the other thing you also did. Burn in hell, you visionary, you.
I know I went through a British Invasion phase.
I've got a decent handful of songs from the 60s in my playlist rotation, but it's not my "era" for sure. The important thing, I guess, is that the community is there and can expose the young'uns to some great classics.
