You don't get to the left until you're anticapitalist. Since it's MLK day, here's MLK coming to the understanding that the liberals who pretend to share his goal are no less of an obstacle than the klansman because both the liberal and klansman condemn any means to achieve his goal.
I guess it depends on the country. Unfortunately here in Brasil it's rather common to find people that believes in "cultural Marxism" and how our education system is Marxist or leftist or some shit. Which is total BS used to smear and drive people away from higher education.
The closest is the PRC, though all Marxists understand that the US is the current hegemon.
