Some breaking news

Too early to tell the cause. Of course they’re already blaming Russia lol

I’m not sure what motive Russia would have to target this particular cable. Any ideas or is it scapegoat time?

lmaooooo

In his view, Russia might have such a motive, for example.

"They really seem to think that they have a special right to do such things. The motive for sabotage is usually that it’s done because it can be done," he added.

"the motive for sabotage is usually just because they felt like it, which of course applies strongly to RUSSIA"

Maybe the evil Russians did it. Or maybe Germany and Finland have been so fixated on ramping up their military spending that they failed to budget for domestic infrastructure maintenance. Who can say?

The important thing to remember is that Russia is ontologically evil and therefore anything bad that happens isn't our fault.

The media has been whining about more military spending and mandatory military service, that people have to accept cuts because they need to be mindful about their "security" and that germany has a duty towards its "allies". So yeah your analysis is the truth.
