put all of your election posting here so it doesn't bother anyone else!

from @CoolerOpposide@hexbear.net:

For Agitprop purposes, I’m asking comrades to help aggregate any and all effortpost responses, critiques, or general thoughts that you have seen or written pertaining to yesterday’s U.S. election that you think have standalone value for discussion either online or IRL.

I made a post for that purpose here, and ideally it can be used not only for general discussion, but as a reference for well thought out responses in discussions about the election to save all of us some brainpower.

No shitposts please, as we’d like to highlight some comrades’ actual effort in constructing responses or analysis, but humor is 100% welcome to help make your point!

What depresses me a bit right now is the fact that my feed on social media is full of posts from libs talking about resistance, organizing, hope. These are the same people that have been at brunch for four years straight, despite the genocide in Palestine.

And now I am painfully aware that all this is just posturing from them.

I've seen posts from millenial dems shitting and insulting gen z cause apparently a lot of them have gen z in their lives who either didn't vote dem or said that dems and repubs are the same due to the gaza genocide yet now they wanna parade as the resistance lmao

Yeah. Most of it is performative as always. But some of them will take their little signs to the sidewalks, and see shit for what it really is when the cops start tear gassing them and beating their heads in instead of throwing them a picnic. And even those few will be more than we'd get with a continued Biden/Harris administration. And maybe some of those will join us in the union halls, and blow things up even further.
