Do they think it would be easier to just elect Democrat presidents and therefore fix everything totally? Plus the template’s stupid. Why would the school force Bart to write such?

unfortunately democrat paychecks depend on not getting elected
I'm a bit uncertain of that. Aren't there some in indigenous communities that trend Republican, especially in certain rural red states.
I live on a rural red state rez and here tribal members vote around 80% D
there are probably exceptions (cherokee/seminole vote more conservative maybe?) but as a general rule indians do not vote republican
Cherokee and Seminole were what I was thinking about. And just a gut feeling that the indigenous vote just doesn't break like, say the African American vote does, like 85/90-10.
