I'm surprised Newsweek didn't explain why he said "Dark MAGA."
Because it was a crypto scheme.

Yet another Musk pump&dump.
Fun fact: if the law applied evenly to billionaires, he'd still be in prison for his previous two market manipulation schemes (the doge coin pump and dump and the pretending that he was about to take Tesla private to boost the stock), sexual harassment, and much more.
i am not having fun after hearing that fact
Sorry about that. Allow me an attempt to rectify that.
thank you. that fact was much more fun
"X-MAGA" would have sent mixed signals
I assumed it was a weird reference to the Phoenix Force from X-Men.
Considering this is the man who thought that the name of the main character in Blade Runner is "Bladerunner," I doubt it.
https://futurism.com/the-byte/elon-musk-main-character-blade-runner
I don’t want him associating with my favorite movie. Secondly, he probably thinks the theatrical cut is the canonical one.
Apparently he hasn't seen any cut if he thinks Deckard's name is Bladerunner. It's not like they never say his name in the movie. It's said multiple times.
Imagine watching Bladerunner and being so fucked up on whatever drugs he was on to think the main character’s name was “Bladerunner”.
I thought it was in reference to Dark Brandon.
As did I. Though if it was, I think he's misunderstood what Dark Brandon even meant.
I assumed it was the equivalent of "dark enlightenment".
