Havent messed with a kyocera. Worst I've seen was konica minolta.
The only time I spent on a Konica minolta immediately thought to myself "there is no way this thing is meant to be configured by a human." That shit is horrendous. It was immediately dropped the second it failed to allow a secure password due to having a disallowed character list.
Edit: mixed up printer brands
My office uses a Konica Minolta printer and using it is so convoluted
