I recently moved into a neighborhood with a bunch of kids and decided to be "that house" that did full sized candy bars.
I was disappointed to learn that the neighbors don't do trick or treating.
I genuinely feel like that is one of the dying north American traditions
Yeah....I sort of get it.
The parents were telling me they'd rather do a trunk or treat or go to a party.
That way the kids aren't running all around and almost getting hit by cars.
I got 10 kids last year if I remember right. I'll get a much smaller box of candy this year.
My parents waited like 30 years to have enough money to be "that house" and now no kids come around anymore lol
What's the point of having kids if you don't let them have fun
