He really got screwed. They didn't want him even working on blue LEDs and then when he was right and actually made one they gave him nothing and made hundreds of millions of dollars. Then sued him when he left to work for another company for "leaking company secrets" which was really all his work. He counter sued and the courts awarded him like 189 million, then the company counter sued back and he got 8 million which just covered his legal fees.

I watched his video about this. Came off to me like he is disregarding the fact that Russia is attacking Ukraine and more acted like it somehow a mutual war where there was no other option than to fight each other. Like dude, the difference is, if Russia stops fighting everything goes back to nornal. If Ukraine stops fighting, they fucking won't exist anymore.

Lol what ads. Old.reddit with Reddit enhancement suite and Ublock Origin. That's the only way I ever browse Reddit anymore. I have never seen an ad on Reddit. If they ever get rid of old Reddit I'll never go back there. As it is my Reddit usage has decreased by 95% since using Lemmy and never browsing Reddit any other place than my pc.

I'm living in North Bay currently and have been climbing for more than 10 years now. There isn't a gym in North Bay which sucks because I come from Hamilton where Gravity climbing gym is located and that place was my second home. I met my wife there and we moved up here to North Bay. To satisfy the craving we've started making our own outdoor bouldering spots! there is literally tonnes of them up here. go on a hike almost anywhere and you can find some potential spots. We found a super sweet one today and knocked down a dead tree to make it safer and i got a first ascent barefoot on a super crimpy v6 (im calling it a v6). Any other Ontario climbers here? or more specifically northern Ontario? would love to hear from some of you! and just to make more discussion do any of you climb barefoot?
