Have we moved past Andrew Callaghan’s sexual impropriety already?
I personally have. He made amends, and took a pretty huge personal hit. He admitted what he did was wrong and came out the other side. He didn't hide from it, he confronted it. People can redeem themselves. What he did was wrong, but we should be happy when people learn from their mistakes and attempt to correct themselves. Punishing them forever after that only causes resentment and causes others to fear trying to do the same thing.
Aka: the American prison system.
Yeah, I used to really like Andrew's work, but haven't really watched anything since the allegations all came out and he went completely quiet for a few months after. It really feels like a calculated move to just wait the story out, and feels like a really dickish thing to do instead of actually addressing his sex pest past.
