This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.
Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.

Are you using an app other than the default UI? It might handle things differently.
ya this was also always an issue on Reddit
there's like hundreds different dialects of markdown out there (and a lot of it is also pretty ad hoc), so you end up in this situation where like every implementation renders things slightly differently
