I would be more surprised if they weren't. I would be especially surprised of there was even a single country that didn't use bots to try and interfere with US elections. Why wouldn't they? This is like sabotage 101.
What I do find frustrating is how we pay the CIA and FBI bazillions of dollars each year to stop things like this, but instead they use the funding to smuggle heroin or some shit. And instead of reporting on how alphabet agencies have zero accountability and do heinous shit, the focus is on something that may as well be "China is breathing air!"
If they policed that and created a precedent then they might no longer be able to do it themselves as easily

Judging by the fact that the HarriSS campaign is releasing attack ads harping on how Trump shot down a border security bill, they are already concerned about it.
