Maybe they're scared and hoping for immunity...? Not to excuse it. Just trying to understand. I'd be interested in hearing from someone in that position.
They're expecting people to give in. It's easier to buy something digitally, but it sure as hell ain't better. They are counting on us shrugging our shoulders, throwing our hands up, but ultimately giving up and giving in.

Played through it a couple of times now. I love it. The Arwing feels amazing. The Landmaster feels clunkier than I remember, but I still enjoy it. The music is fantastic! These fully orchestrated tracks are almost worth the price of the game (for me).
The game is still super fun with lots of replay value. I admit most of my feelings are coming from nostalgia, though. So, if you've never played StarFox 64 (or any StarFox game), it might be a little too expensive on its own, maybe...? That's something each person is going to have to decide on their own, though. For me, I've really enjoyed it so far!
Good for them, I guess. I won't be watching...

I believe "I Love Lucy" is credited with inventing or popularizing the three camera sitcom. Not to dampen's "Seinfeld"s contributions or the point of your comment, but I just wanted to add that small correction.

"The Kings of the Wyld" by Nicholas Eames. Only a few chapters in, but I love it.
The premise is: decades after a famous band of heroes has retired, one of them tries to get the band back together again to rescue his daughter. They're all old and grumpy, and it's just awesome. Very dry humor.
