I have an electric motorcycle (Zero FX) and a borderline ebike (Sur-ron X). Honestly military use cases are probably great for them.

They're super quiet, they can be laid down on their sides without any fluids leaking out, you can charge them without crazy charging infrastructure. I have charged mine with a large solar blanket before! Swapping batteries is pretty quick, but honestly when I spend a day in the woods with either, I'm worn out before the battery is.

Range anxiety is real for serious highway miles, however for scouting where you have even 1 proper truck to strap it to for distance travel, I could see a very real benefit to having a couple of these available for fast, offroad, short-range mobility use.

Key word right there

Until somebody does a teardown of a regular off the lot model, there's no way to be sure.

notoriously common stupid way of thinking

Why are you being rude to somebody you're trying to convince to put in extra effort to switch services?

Most people like extra daylight when they get off work for completely valid non-commercial reasons, too.

You're entitled to your preferences, but why you gotta be so rude?

I would argue both points.

First, most phones have at least 20GB, which is a LOT of music storage if you're using 320vbr compression, and if you're an audiophile who absolutely positively must have flac for everything, you're already going to be familiar enough with storage to know what size microSD card to get. Add in a synced dropbox/gdrive/nextcloud/whatever folder, and you don't even have to manually plug it in to transfer files anymore, so space is kind if irrelevant.

Second, most people who are mobile are going to be listening with bluetooth headphones, and those who aren't can still use a USB-C to jack adapter, which are pretty inexpensive and ubiquitous now, have passthrough charging solved, etc. For the audiophiles, there are very good USB-C DACs out now.

I guess I'm just confused about where this device fits into my life. If I'm mobile, it's extra stuff to carry that duplicates functions I already have on me. If I'm home, I have fixed audio equipment that is way more versatile.

My resin printer was powered off with resin in the vat for about 7 months. Last night I turned it on, gave it a job, and I woke up to a successful print.

My inkjet printer was powered off for 2 weeks. Last night I turned it on, gave it a job, and was instantly disappointed with a streaky, blotchy output. Running a clean cycle just made the output worse.

Why are 2D printers so terrible despite decades of development? What are some 2D printers this community has had good interactions with/would recommend?

S.S. Badger is an old steam ferry that crosses Lake Michigan. After 10 hours on the road it was really nice to park and let the captain take over for a while!

It's my first post here. I sure do love bikes!
