I have a 5900x and honestly don't see any need for an upgrade anytime soon.

A new CPU would maybe give me like 10 fps more in games, but a new GPU would do more. And I don't think the CPU will be a bottle neck in the next few years

Oh wow that's really shitty.

Thanks for the info! :)

Yeah, the Sony phones do that as well. The special part of the camera button is that it acts like one on a proper camera. If you half press it (you can feel a slight change in resistance when you hit the spot) it engages the focus and then you can press it fully to take the picture.

I was able to program the Bixby button on my Samsung S10+ to take pictures as well, but it lacks the half press feature.

Xperia is in my opinion the only phone left worth buying. It has all the bells and whistles you expect from a flagship phone + a headphone jack, SD card slot and very good camera.

I love being able to manually do what ever I want in the camera app and having the camera button is just nice.

Had the Xperia Z3 back in the day after my beloved Sony Ericson Xperia Play died. Loved both phones. Switched to Samsung for a few years and are now back to Sony (Xperia 1 IV) since 2023. Words can't describe how happy I am being back. :D

Afaik you need kernel access to use this vulnerability. It still sucks, but having malware with kernel access sucks either way. So lets just hope that our favorite kernel anti-cheats never get compromised.

I have been using Affinity Photo for a couple of years now. Not in a professional way, just for some small personal things. Before buying Affinity Photo I used PS for the same purposes for a few years.

I don't see me going back to PS, since Affinity has everything I need. Sadly, I don't remember specifics, but a few things work a bit different in Affinity, but the workflow is quite similar.

Note that I am not using the latest version, so things might have changed.

I have been using Kagi as an alternative search engine for over a month now and can't see me going back to Google anytime soon. Googles results are just full of adverts and garbage.
