I've been posting these weekly updates over at c/kansascitychiefs, but thought they might be appreciated here also.
Fastenating!
INFP = I Need Four People
Love this! Thanks for posting!
This uses the same detection model as the whoBIRD android app. I've used it in a side by side test with Merlin and they do not give consistent results. They're in the same ball park, but really every detection (for both apps) should be verified with human ears. And I'm not sure that's possible with a 24/7 setup.
IT'S STILL AWESOME AND FUN! I hope the talented people that made this continue to develop it. I'm glad this was posted, but like OP said, not super practical.
It did seem odd, we nearly stepped on them. But after looking into it more, it's apparently pretty common: https://old.reddit.com/r/Ornithology/comments/npzykp/killdeer_eggs_i_was_walking_along_a_gravel_path/h09ps9t/
Yeah, I think you're right 👍 Thanks!
Yeah, this doesn't include community posts. I haven't tried finding one tho
All youtube channels have their own feeds, but they're not obvious to find. The first part of the URL looks like this:
https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=
Go to the channel's home page and search the page source for "channel_id=" (with a long string of numbers and letters after it, often starting with a "U") then paste the ID after the equal sign. The channel id looks something like this: UCtwKon9qMt5YLVgQt1tvJKg
Inoreader has an "Load full content" button (and hotkey) that loads the body of text without having to visit the page.
Not Boston Dynamics, but a copy cat robotics company.
