100% they do not. One only has to look at the United States' farcical retreat from Afghanistan and their bungled Operation Prosperity Guardian in the Red Sea that has achieved absolutely nothing to see that their capabilities are vastly reduced for what they were.

This was peddled on a lot of the Telegram channels tonight but I can't find the actual source. I did find this, however, which seems more measured:

IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari said in televised remarks: "We will protect the citizens of Israel. This attack will have consequences. We have plans. We will act at the time and place of our choosing."

“We have carried out a large number of interceptions,” Hagari added. “There were a few hits in the centre and other areas in the south of the country,” he said, adding that the military was not aware of any casualties.

Looks like Israel has chosen Regional War Time. 4 front war speendrun.

The day the prisoners broke through the prison gates; my goodness what a joy that was. Today is much less, especially in the face of the genocide and recent losses, but my god does it feel good.

The time of The Retaliation is at hand. Let's see what Iran has cooking. Last deep breath before the plunge, given how insane the Israelis have been the past few weeks I fully expect this to explode into regional war proper. Long time coming.

Negotiating with the United States is like negotiating with the demons in Frieren or something. They may use "words" but those words hold no meaning, they recognize no promises, they are only speaking to manipulate you into a position where you can be destroyed.

The United States promised a ceasefire in Gaza on the terms Hamas negotiated with Israel in exchange for Iran not retaliating. Instead the Israelis used this détente to take out Nasrallah and invade Lebanon.

Pezeshkian had already been complaining that he had received little in return for listening to western-inspired pleas not to seek immediate revenge for the killing of Ismail Haniyeh, the Hamas leader assassinated by Israel in Tehran. Pezeshkian said he had been promised that a Gaza ceasefire deal that would see the release of hostages and Palestinian political prisoners was only a week or two away.

The U.S. has indications that Iran is preparing to imminently launch a ballistic missile attack against Israel, a senior White House official tells Axios.

The buzz on the Telegrams is that Washington is claiming Iran is about to hit Israel with a ballistic missile attack "imminently" so we'll see if The Retaliation finally comes given Iran just got embarrassingly and pathetically played.
